Good Breeding Stock

I heard a feminist stating that the world would be a better place if males were reduced to about 10% of the population. At first glance this sounds great. Who wouldn't want a harem, or such favorable odds in selection? But think about where else you see a male/female ratio of 10/90 percent. That's right boys and girls, in cattle, sheep, chickens and other farm animals. It kind of makes you wonder who the farmer is.
